The Middle East & North Africa Journal (MENAVEX) is an academic biannual peer review journal, specializing on the study of violence and extremism & related areas.
MENAVEX accepts submission of research papers, field-work notes, research reports, reading notes from different disciplines on questions and issues related to violence and extremism all over the world.
Submissions should be in one of the following languages: Arabic, English, or French.
The MENAVEX governing body consists of a secretariat, a scientific committee, and a high-level advisory board, in addition of a wide list of expert-reviewers from all over the world.
MENAVEX Governance
This journal is managed by:
A Publication Directorate & Secretariat
In charge of administrative and technical affairs of the Journal. It is responsible for communicating with institutions and individuals. It also coordinates with the other governing bodies, namely the high-level advisory board and the scientific committee.
The Scientific Committee
Consists of forty-three academics and experts from twenty-five countries. It plays a central role in validating the scientific quality of contents, suggesting topics and issues of scientific value. The Scientific Committee maintains the power to choose reviewers for received articles.
The High-Level Advisory board
In charge of strategic orientations for MENAVEX. It has moral and guiding powers in order to maintain the quality of MENAVEX as a peer-review scientific journal that meets international scientific standards for academic publication.
Internal & External Reviewers
Composed of two members or more, and they are selected either from the scientific committee or among external experts when required.
